Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026
Clicks That Matter is a family, children and pet photography business in New York City, run by Dhruv Sharma ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information www.clicksthatmatter.com collects, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry or booking form, we receive the details you enter:
- your name, email address and phone number
- the details you choose to share: session type or package, preferred dates, location, how you heard about us and your message
- for dog training enquiries, your training goal and previous experience
With each enquiry we also record the page you started on and, if you arrived from an ad, QR code or other campaign link, the campaign tags in that link (such as utm_source). This tells us which campaigns bring enquiries. Your browser keeps those tags for up to 30 days, so they can be attached if you enquire later; they never include your contact details.
Your IP address is used briefly to block spam form submissions; the website does not save it with your enquiry. Like most websites, our web server keeps standard access logs (including IP address and browser type) for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
- to reply to you, and to arrange and deliver your session
- to understand which pages and campaigns lead people to get in touch
- to keep the website secure and working
We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
Where it is kept and who can see it
Enquiries are stored on the server that hosts this website, and a copy is emailed to our Gmail inbox. Only we can access them. Service providers involved are our hosting provider and Google (Gmail, Google Analytics and Google Ads), each under their own privacy terms.
Cookies, analytics and ads
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see how people find and use the site, and Google Ads conversion measurement to see whether our ads lead to enquiries. These tools use cookies. Analytics is set up with IP anonymisation, and the events we send never include your name, email, phone number or message. To learn how Google uses this information, see "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services" at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept these cookies. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland they stay off until you accept, and Google receives only cookieless signals. Elsewhere they are on unless you reject them, and a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser counts as a rejection. Rejecting also deletes the Google cookies already set. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. We do not use remarketing or personalised advertising.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout), and manage Google ad settings at adssettings.google.com.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond to you, provide your session and keep our business records. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law; contact us and we will help.
Children
This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information through it from children under 13. Enquiries about photographing children come from their parents or guardians.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date above.
